Oluwole Asalu

Oluwole Kenneth Asalu is an accomplished multi-sector executive and entrepreneurial leader with over two decades of extensive experience spanning the financial, technology, oil and gas, and telecommunications sectors in Africa. A fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society and the Nigerian Institute of Management Consultants, Oluwole graduated from the University of Benin with a B.Sc. in Computer Science. He has successfully built two businesses in Africa into multimillion-dollar corporations and serves on various technology boards across the continent. Endowed with a results-driven approach, Oluwole excels in growth strategy formulation, stakeholder and board management, risk reduction, and operational improvements. He has the proven ability to deliver on high-stakes projects under challenging conditions, a testament to his adept leadership and robust cross-cultural communication skills. A disciplined and visionary leader, Oluwole is passionate about nurturing talent and implementing best practices to achieve organisational targets. His dynamic approach to leadership is underpinned by a keen focus on empowering teams and driving excellence. Known for his positive thinking and strong stakeholder management abilities, Oluwole is deeply committed to building sustainable solutions and organisations, utilising design thinking principles, and championing the development of young leaders across Africa. Oluwole is currently part-sponsoring the Innovation Makers Challenge, an inititive of the Telecommunication and Technology Sustainability Working Group, aimed at fostering innovation among young talents in Africa's technology and telecommunications sectors.
